Hi Josh I had some thoughts for your blood services project that you might want to add to your brainstorming with the team.Healthy young men that could give blood but have excuses , no time, scared of needles, don’t like blood. Then someone they care about ie girlfriend or mother is in a car accident the healthy young man is at the hospital and the Dr says yes their injuries were survivable but we just didn’t have enough blood. So you get the Drs giving excuses in the end.I remember way back your dad getting an email from a guy begging for help to get immunoglobulin blood was scarce in his country and he could only get it on the black market which was not screened or treated. You could do something along those lines of is this really where we want it to go ie if we don’t give then good people will have to get their blood like a druggie getting their fix from a dealer. You could do one about you (but a bit embellished). Show a really nice guy everyone loves. Nice kid growing up, nice young adult. Really good to his girlfriend & Mum. Helps strangers. Surfs skates goes clubbing with his mates. Volunteers to do the shit jobs in the flat (like clean toilets)Everyone loves him. Then suddenly he’s dead and all his mates are shocked can’t believe he’s gone. Make it look like it was prob suicide or drug od then they find out at his funeral when people get up to speak and his Dr gets up and says wow it’s such a shame because all we had to do to keep him alive was to give a moment of our time and let someone take blood. You could do it where a mum & a dad never have time to give blood always too busy. Then their baby gets sick & needs blood but there isn’t any...You could do some kind of play on you can’t buy blood it’s a gift that has to be given...
